Wisdom will bring understanding. People who do not understand the will and purposes of God become targets of the devil. Satan can easily talk some Christians out of their rightful inheritance. Because they have no faith, they cannot receive the promises of God.
Sorry, Lord. I am like Peter, my faith was not strong enough.
Dear Father, I am grateful for your many blessings. Thank you for opening my eyes to Your truths and for your many promises to me. I do want to become wiser, so help me to study and understand the Bible. Open my spiritual ears to hear the things I need to understand at this time.
Thank you for the knowledge You have already given me, but I desire to know more, so that I might know You more. I want my relationship with You to be closer than ever before. Please give me the desire to pray more and to read the Bible more. Forgive me when I neglect these two very important things.
Thank you for the promise of health for me. I receive that promise so that I might be about Your business. How wonderful You are to me and all of Your children.
Dear father, I come to you humbly, and ask that you remove any prideful attitudes in my heart and life. I truly want to follow in Your ways and serve You. Help me to trust you when things are going wrong, as much as when things are going right. I am remorse with what I did, it's all sin. I am sinful.
I realize to walk in faith, that I must believe that You will help me with my current problems even though I do not see a way at this time. You will make a way, as You have never failed anyone who comes to You in faith.
I am thankful for saving me from the consequences of my sins. I do ask you to forgive me for all of my trespasses and sins that I have committed in the weakness of my flesh. Help me today to resist the temptation to yield to any sin.
I know I cannot do this in my own strength, but I call on you to give me the power to overcome the desires of my flesh. Lord, I acknowledge my respect, fear and awe of You. Deliver me from all foolishness. I trust that You are "all wise" and ask that you teach me your ways so that I might walk in a path of blessing and be a blessing to all I meet today.
Dear Lord, I am thankful that you placed me in KPC, so that I have a good environment to study Your words, a good teacher to nurture us as well. I sincerely thank You for bringing me brothers and sisters in Christ. Please, do not forsake me. I need Your help and my friends' help as much. I hope they don't leave me when I need for their aid. I am fear with it. Dear Lord, please empower Holy spirit to renew me as my faith could stand firm towards You.
